MISSION OF THE DEPARTMENT

• Impart Mechatronics Engineering education by providing healthy learning environment, learning centres, promoting and nurturing self-learning with a curriculum that evolves to keep pace with the rapid growth of technology in various areas of Mechatronics engineering.

• To make effective learning a pleasant experience through experiential and research oriented approach to delivery and learning by providing cutting edge facilities and equipment.

• Supporting and  encouraging  the faculty, staff, and students to specialize  in diverse  disciplines  of  Mechatronics  engineering  through training  and  research for teaching and mentoring both in and out of the classroom.

Department of Mechatronics delivers a wide variety of programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and carries out extensive research in fields such as:

• Automatic Control

• Process Control and SCADA

• Robotic Systems (Industrial Robotics, Bio-Robotics, Computer Vision, …)

• Advanced Micro-controllers and Embedded Systems

• Precision Manufacturing Technology

• Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
