The Mechatronics Engineering Technology (MET) program
Vietnam is on the way of industrialization, modernization and international integration. Therefore the need for high-quality human resources which could best serve for the industrial development is crucial.
The Bachelor of Science degree in MET program has been built to train experts in an emerging field that blends mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science. The mission of the program is to prepare graduates for technology-oriented career in which they could apply mathematical and scientific principles to the design, development and operational evaluation of automated systems. It is also aimed to build technical and practical skills fulfilling the requirements of a Mechatronics engineer.
Program Objectives
The objectives of the MET program that graduates are expected to attain within a few years of graduation are:
- Apply general knowledge, fundamental knowledge and specialized knowledge to work effectively and implement lifelong learning in the profession.
- Analyze thoroughly the production system with problem solving skill and professional skills.
- Communicate effectively in the profesional enviroment, leadership and team work situations.
- Conceive, design, implement, operate and maintain Mechatronics systems.
- Specify requirements of industry to fulfill the needs of customers.
Job Opportunities
After graduation, students could work in mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, chemical engineering, food processing or technical services companies and factories in the role of engineers or operation managers.

The expected learning outcomes:
At the completion of the program, students will be able to:
General knowledge, core engineering knowledge and advanced knowledge in Mechatronics:
1) Use general knowledge of mathematics and science.
2) Apply kernel engineering knowledge in the professional areas of mechanical, electrical, electronic and automatic engineering.
3) Make use of advanced engineering knowledge in the professional areas of mechanical, electrical, electronic and automatic engineering.
