Range of Responsibilities
|
|
1.
|
Making/ Repair part, tool according to assignment of the tool shop leader by using lathe, milling machine, grinding machine, EDM...
|
|
2.
|
Performing daily & regular maintenance of machines, tools controlled by the tool shop.
|
|
3.
|
Being representative of the tool shop leader to receive, clarify and execute the requirement from other departments when authorized.
|
|
4.
|
Making drawings where required.
|
|
5.
|
Controlling tool, accessories, machines assigned.
|
|
6.
|
Other requirements if any.
|
|
Entitlements
|
|
1.
|
Communication with tool shop leader, relevant personnel of other departments related to tool/ part making & repair.
|
|
2.
|
The toolmaker takes all decisions concerning the way of repairing the tool and replacing parts in it.
|
|
3.
|
Approval needed in case of:
- Doing changes in a tool, machine.
- Taking action which may result in an end product change.
- Ordering spare parts or tools
|
|
4.
|
To access personal computer
|

- FORMAL REQUIREMENTS:

Education:
|
Required:
Preferable:

University/ College Degree (Mechanical engineering)
|
|
|
|
2
|
Professional knowledge of:
|
- Reading of technical drawings
- Basic knowledge about tool/ part material
- Grinding ( ~0.001 mm)
- Conventional milling
- Basic knowledge of stamping tools.
- Can use lathe, milling machine, grinding machine, EDM.

|
3
|
Knowledge of computer servicing:
|
Microsoft Office, Autocad, Solid works/Proe.
|
|
4
|
Knowledge of foreign languages:
|
Competence level B
|
|
5
|
Other (e.g. competences):
|
- Problem solving
- Self reliance

6
|
Professional experience:
|
Mandatory:
|
1-2 years on a similar position.
|

Prefered:
